Elizabeth: the Golden Age directed by Shekhar Kapur.
Cate Blanchett reprises the role of Queen Elizabeth I in this sequel to 1998’s Elizabeth, also directed by Shekhar Kapur. Clive Owen plays love interest, Walter Raleigh and Samantha Morton, (last seen in Control as Ian Curtis’ wife), is scheming cousin, Mary Stuart. Geoffrey Rush plays the Queen’s adviser, Sir Francis Walsingham.
