Comedian and actress Deirdre O’Kane has moved to London and she’s determined to become a good cook. So who better to teach her than her fellow Irishman Richard Corrigan? They meet in the heart of London and she gets a cordon bleu cooking lesson from the man himself.
Ireland used to be replete with many different varieties of potatoes and apples. So what happened? Why are there only two varieties left in our supermarkets? Richard visits the seed savers in Co. Clare who are truly doing their bit for bio-diversity. He’s inspired to produce a memorable dish which they’re all very happy to enjoy.
Gouji berries are only the latest super-food to hit our shelves but are you confused by what you should and should not be eating? If so, stay tuned, because super-foods may actually be a lot closer and a lot cheaper than you think.
And of course, Richard will have another great, easy recipe to wow any dinner guests – all on Corrigan Knows Food.
