THE LOFT | SUN MAY 27th at 9:35am on THE DEN on RTÉ TWO

Four friends from Donaghmede star on The Loft, the only chat show for children, this Sunday May 27th on The Den.

Stephen, Emma, Jack and Kate fill Simon in on their locality. They also chat about the Egyptian boy king Tutankhamun and his tomb, family history and Jack brings in his lizard.

The Loft also features Irish made cartoon Ugly Ducking and Me.

 

DDN STAR SEARCH FINAL | SUN MAY 27th at 6:00pm on RTÉ TWO

The moment of truth is here – who will emerge triumphant as the DDN Star Search winner?

For the past eight months talented starlets from all around the country have performed on Star Search for a much coveted place in the final. The public voted and now only six contestants remain.

The Six remaining contestants are:

Aoibheann Reddy (12) from Rathfarnham in Dublin

Nastasia Vashko (9) from Annacotty in Limerick

Molly Ward (12) from Mallow in Co. Cork

Charlotte Gaughran (11) from Blackrock in Co. Louth

Clara Leahy (13) from Caherconlish in Co. Limerick

Marnie McLeane Fay (13) from Blackrock in Cork

Who will walk away with the DDN Star Search title, the grand prize of a holiday voucher worth €3000 and the trophy?

The fate of these 6 contestants lies in the hands of four judges – Emma O’ Driscoll, Paul Walsh from Royseven, Thomas Black and Michelle McManus from British Pop Idol 2003.

WAKEY WAKEY AND THE CLUB| MON MAY 28th to FRI JUNE 1st from 7:35am and 3:35pm on THE DEN on RTÉ TWO

It’s the very last week of The Club and Wakey Wakey for this season. Kathryn and Simon have lots of ideas for summer fun and activities.

On Monday, they pay a visit to the junior members of the National Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin for some sailing fun.

On Tuesday, it’s the final Clubsters. Kathryn heads off to Cavan to visit ‘The Millennium School of Gymnastics’ to try her hand at tumbling!

Also Kathryn announces the winners of the Club Adventures comic strip competition and has more summer sizzlers lined up for YOU. On Friday, herself and Simon pack their bags and head off to the beach where they have a sand castle challenge and whip up a smashing picnic.

 

GO FOR IT | MON MAY 28th to FRI JUNE 1st at 5:00pm on THE DEN on RTÉ TWO

This week, Go For It sees young people from around Ireland help an adult they know overcome their worst fears. Each day three adults face their worst fear by taking on a Go For It challenge.

The phobias include a fear of heights, water, enclosed spaces and horses.
On Friday, June 1st, the winners from each day go head to head to find out who is the bravest of them all!!

 

NEW PROGRAMME SEEKS TECHNO GRANDPARENTS!

Is your granny or granddad a techno whiz? Well The Den are looking for grannies and granddads that are up to speed on Wii, PSP, Bebo and the latest gaming craze for a new show starting in September.
