 RTÉ Radio 1 All Ireland Talent Showcase

 Are you always singing in the shower, humming along to music on the radio, tapping your feet to the beat of a tune, playing an instrument in the comfort of your own home or are a gifted story teller? Well if so RTÉ Radio 1 wants you!

 

Director/producer Kevin Hough is embarking on another RTÉ Radio 1 All Ireland Talent Showcase.  If you are between 25 and 45 years of age, can sing, play an instrument or even tell funny stories we want you to audition for the RTÉ Radio 1 All Ireland Talent Showcase. You don’t need to be a soloist acts with up to 6 people are welcome to audition as well.

 

The grand final will take place in the National Concert Hall in Dublin on Wednesday 19th September this year with over 1200 people attending on the night. The top prize on the evening is a Tipperary Crystal trophy and a cheque for €1000.

 

Kevin Hough said:

‘This is a great opportunity for instrumentalists, soloists, comedians, bands and groups to perform in our National Concert Hall and on national radio. We look forward to a fantastic final in September and so far our auditions are most enjoyable so do come along and perform for us.’

 

 

Auditions in the following venues start from 6.30pm – All auditions are private:        

 

2) 25 April:      CORK – Sheraton Fota Island Golf Resort and Spa, Fota Island

                                               

3) 26 April:      LIMERICK – Absolutehotel.com, Sir Harry’s Mall, Limerick

                       

4) 23 May:       SLIGO- Radisson SAS Hotel & Spa, Rosses Point, Sligo

                       

5) 30 May:       GALWAY – Radisson SAS Hotel & Spa, Lough Atalia Road                  

                                                  

6) 6 June:       DERRY –City Hotel, Queens Quay, (off Foyle St) Derry

 

7) 13 June:      BELFAST – Radisson SAS Hotel, The Gasworks, Belfast
