This week on Off The Rails we makeover a bride-to-be who is planning her perfect wedding on the Amalfi coast. Her biggest problem though is that she has to wear a wig on the day.
Orla Murphy wants her Italian wedding to be perfect and so contacted Off The Rails to get some professional help.
The weather will be hot, so she needs advice on how to find a suitable wedding dress that will not look out of place in the hills of Positano. She is also looking for make-up tips on achieving a flawless finish in the heat. But a bigger issue for Orla is what to do with her hair. She has alopecia and has been wearing a wig for the past few years. Does a wig have to look like a wig, and does wearing one preclude the joys of a veil or an up-style?
Pamela Flood and Caroline Morahan assemble the top style team to get Orla ready for her wedding. Carlow image consultant Marietta Doran is up against Orla’s very stylish mum Catherine and they both have strong ideas about what will suit her.
The big question is, which dress is Orla’s favourite, and will her friends and family pick the one she really likes?
