SMS | Sunday 26th November at 11.55am on RTÉ Two

Róisín Ní Thomáin has joined SMS as presenter. Each Sunday morning she counts down the Irish download and specialist charts as well as chatting to studio guests.

From Galway city, Róisín is familiar to Irish music lovers. She currently hosts a Saturday morning radio show on Dublin’s Spin103.8 and recently completed her second series as co-presenter of The Den’s successful rock school series JAM. Her credits also include two years as presenter of TG4’s weekly chart show Pop 4 and two series as presenter of the Irish language magazine show SRL for BBC Northern Ireland. Róisín was also a regular guest presenter on The Den’s summer series The Buzz with Simon Deasy.

This Saturday, sees the climax of the Elvis/Felicity/Otto love triangle in the weekly feature Felicity Fabulous Falsetto. Trust and friendship are the subject of Wednesday’s One Minute Junior film, ‘A Friend’s Strength’ by Qudus Oloruntoyi from Dublin. One Minutes Junior films are created by young people aged between 12 and 20 years from Europe. They reflect the interests, concerns, cultural backgrounds and impressions of young Europeans.

There’s a Clothes Fight on Managing The Universe this Tuesday, 
Commissioned by RTÉ from Monster Animation, this witty animated series takes a wry look at the trials and tribulations facing young adults from camping to heart break, carnivals to talent auditions and the CAO

Four girl friends from Cabra, Dublin, have their say on the Loft, Ireland’s only chat show for children, this Sunday.Kathryn welcomes Eve, Maloba, Kirsty and Megan from Christ The Kings Girls School on to The Loft. They tell her how they all LOVE their school uniform! and what the Glitter Girl club is all about.

 

ART OF DON | Thursday 30th November at 3.20pm on The Club on RTÉ Two

Don Conroy gets into modern art this Thursday. Don and a group of young artists look at different kinds of modern art and show us how to draw it. Each week Don is assisted by young artists Adam from Ballyfermot, Aoibheann from Rathfarnham, Conor from Walkinstown, Shane from Clondalkin, Isabelle from Artane and Megan  from Tallaght.
