WORLD CUP MATCHES
SAT 10 JUN, 1.30PM, RTÉ TWO
Group B matches dominate the second day of the World Cup. The first match is the hotly anticipated clash between England V Paraguay in Frankfurt at 2.00pm. Bill O’Herlihy is joined by Eamon Dunphy, Liam Brady and Graeme Souness with commentary by George Hamilton and Ray Houghton.
The second of the days Group B live clashes will feature Trinidad & Tobago V Sweden in Dortmund at 5.00pm. Commentary by Stephen Alkin and Trevor Steven. This will be followed by Ivory Coast V Argentina in Group C from Hamburg at 8.00pm with commentary by Darragh Maloney and John Giles. Peter Collins will be joined by Denis Irwin and Kenny Cunningham to discuss both matches.
The Après Match team will also be continuing with their unique insight into the World Cup.
There will also be the first report from a new addition to RTÉ’s World Cup coverage for this year. Gatecrasher with sports broadcaster Ger Gilroy will be touring around Germany in a camper van, giving viewers an alternative look at the sights and sounds of the greatest show on earth.

Bill O’Herlihy will be joined by Eamon Dunphy and Mark Kinsella to see Netherlands V Serbia & Montenegro in Group C live from Leipzig at 2.00pm with commentary by George Hamilton and Ray Houghton.
The first matches from Group D of the tournament begin with Mexico V Iran live from Nurnberg at 5.00pm with commentary by Jimmy Magee and Trevor Steven. This will then be followed by Portugal V Angola live from Köln at 8.00pm in the same group with commentary by Darragh Maloney and John Giles. Peter Collins will be joined by Denis Irwin and Kenny Cunningham to review both opening matches in Group D.
Après Match will bring another report on how the World Cup is progressing from their expert take.

Peter Collins is joined by Kenny Cunningham and Mark Kinsella to bring you coverage of the opening game in Group F, which sees Australia V Japan live from Kaiserlautern at 2.00pm. Commentary by Darragh Maloney and John Giles.
Group E clashes then dominate the day with Czech Rep V USA live from Gelsenkirchen at 5.00pm with commentary by Stephen Alkin and Trevor Steven. Followed by Italy V Ghana live from Hanover at 8.00pm with commentary by Jimmy Magee and Ray Houghton. Bill O’Herlihy will be joined by Eamon Dunphy, Denis Irwin and Kenny Cunnigham on the evening’s panel.
The Apres Match team will be back again and Ger Gilroy will be having an alternative look at events in Gatecrasher from the World Cup village at Gelsenkirchen.

The first match of the day sees Korea V Toga in Group G live from Frankfurt at 2.00pm with Peter Collins joined by Kenny Cunningham and Denis Irwin for match discussion. Commentary will be from Ger Canning.
The second Group G clash of the day sees Switzerland V France live from Stuttgart at 5.00pm with commentary by Darragh Maloney and John Giles. This will be proceeded by the opening match for defending champions Brazil who take on Croatia live from Berlin at 8.00pm, commentary by George Hamilton and Ray Houghton. Bill O’Herily will be joined on the panel in studio by Graeme Souness, Liam Brady and Kenny Cunningham.
The days coverage will also include another humorous insert from the Après Match team.

The first matches from Group H of the tournament begin with Spain V Ukraine live from Leipzig at 2.00pm with commentary by Stephen Alkin and Trevor Steven. Denis Irwin and John Gileswill join Peter Collins to discuss the action.
Tunisia will then take on Saudi Arabia in the second Group H match live from Munich at 5.00pm with commentary from Ger Canning and Trevor Stevens. Bill O’Herlihy will be joined by Graeme Souness and John Gilesto review the game. Eamon Dunphy will then join the panel to discuss the day’s third match of hosts Germany V Poland live from Dortmund at 8.00pm. Commentary by George Hamilton and Ray Houghton.

The evening then features action from all of the Group B countries starting with Trinidad & Tobago V England live from Nurnberg at 5.00pm with commentary by Darragh Maloney and Tevor Steven.
