EUROVISION SONG CONTEST 2006 PREVIEW- Saturday 13 May, RTÉ One, 3.30pm
Marty Whelan looks at the 37 entries competing in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest
to be held in Athens, Greece, next Saturday night, including Ireland’s entry, Every Song is
a Cry for Love, written and performed by Brian Kennedy.


EUROVISION SONG CONTEST SEMI-FINAL 2006- Thursday 18 May, RTÉ Two, 8pm
Live from the Olympic Indoor Hall in Athens, 23 Countries will compete in the Semi-Final with only the top 10 proceeding to the final on Saturday 20th May. 
Brian Kennedy will represent Ireland performing his own composition Every Song Is  A Cry For Love chosen by the Irish public on the Late Late Show Eurosong 2006 on Friday 17th February. Brain will be the eighth act to sing on the night.

51st EUROVISION SONG CONTEST FINAL 2005- Saturday 20th May, RTÉ One, 8pm
Live from the Olympic Indoor Hall in Athens, 24 countries will compete in the final: the top 10 scorers in last year’s competition, 10 who qualified through the semi-final and the four largest players in the EBU who automatically qualify each year, the UK, France, Germany and Spain.
