George Hamilton, Darragh Maloney and Peter Collins present the Eircom/FAI International Soccer Awards live from the Citywest Hotel in Dublin.
Major awards to be presented include:
• Senior International Player of the Year: nominees are Kenny Cunningham, Richard Dunne & Shay Given
• Young International Player of the Year: nominees are Kevin Doyle, Stephen Elliot & Andy Reid.
• Eircom League Player of The Year: nominees are Joe Gamble (Cork City FC), Peter Hutton (Derry City FC) & George O’Callaghan (Cork City FC).
Other awards to be presented on the night include the Hall of Fame Award (previous recipients include Liam Brady and Noel Cantwell), and the Special Merit Award which recognises the outstanding contribution or dedication of an individual to the game.
Italian referee Pierre Luigi Collina will also be presented with the International Personality Of The Year Award.
