VETS ON CALL
The very popular docu-soap Vets on Call is back with its third series, following one of the few all-female practices in Ireland, based in Tulla, Co Clare.

Tulla Veterinary Clinic is a two-woman practice. The owners Cathy and Erica run a successful clinic attending to approximately 300 clients.  This rural practice’s hinterland is steeped in local history, where the vets take turns on call at all hours of the night and morning, seven days a week. These ladies have no problem pulling calves, TB testing or treating small animals, often using homeopathic remedies to treat ailments.  The office is a hub of activity between all the vets, their pets and larger than life Christina, who keeps all ticking over smoothly.

THE HEALTH SQUAD
This autumn sees the return of Health Squad, RTÉ One’s successful health and lifestyle series. As always the programme will focus on health, both physical and mental, and the importance of taking control of our lives.
Presented by Sheana Keane, every week HEALTH SQUAD will introduce viewers to a different person, in need of a health and lifestyle overhaul.  Topics covered will include obesity and weight management, breast cancer, infertility, panic attacks, cystic fibrosis and the menopause.  The Squad consisting of Nutritionist Paula Mee, holistic practitioner Karen Ward and personal fitness trainer Padraig Murphy will take these volunteers through their paces, starting with a ‘health audit’. We will also be introducing you to a new squad member, life coach Shalini Sinah, who will support and counsel our volunteers while they make dramatic lifestyle changes.             Nemeton
