Recent negotiations between representatives of RTÉ Television Sport and the GPA (Gaelic Players’ Association) in relation to the surreptitious advertising of products during GAA player interviews, have reached a mutually satisfactory conclusion.


While RTÉ Television’s stated position on surreptitious advertising remains unchanged, a compromise position has been reached.


RTÉ Television is satisfied and very happy that viewers and players will again enjoy the full editorial coverage that such an exciting GAA season warrants and deserves.
