RTÉ’s comprehensive coverage of the Moto GP season continues with exclusive live coverage of the Netherlands Grand Prix from the Circuit van Drenthe in Assen. Peter Collins and Eddie Laycock provide the commentary. All seventeen races are live on RTÉ Television throughout the season and there’s a highlights programme for each race, plus a chance for viewers to win a brand new Kawasaki motorbike and a trip to the Valencia Grand Prix. CONFEDERATIONS CUP
The 2005 Confederations Cup continues on Saturday on RTÉ as Mark Kinsella and Brian Kerr join Darragh Maloney for live coverage of the semi-final between the winner of Group A and the runner-up in Group B, with commentary from George Hamilton and Trevor Steven in Nuremberg. On Sunday, Brian joins Darragh in studio for full deferred coverage of the semi-final between the winner of Group B and Group A’s runner-up. Sunday’s programme will also include live coverage of the draw for Round 2 of the All Ireland Football Championship qualifiers in GAA. Wednesday sees the final of the competition, with Brian Kerr joining Peter Collins for live coverage from the Waldstadion in Frankfurt. Commentary comes once again from George Hamilton and Trevor Steven, and the programme will also include highlights of the third and fourth place play-off from Leipzig. Eight countries take part in this year’s Confederations Cup, the precursor to the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
