It’s another double header on this week’s Sunday Game Live with provincial football and hurling semi-finals both on the agenda. First up, Joe Brolly and John O’Mahony join Michael Lyster for live coverage of Galway v Leitrim in the Connacht Senior Football Championship semi-final, with commentary from Darragh Maloney and Martin Carney. After that Cyril Farrell and Donal O’Grady join Michael for live coverage of Kilkenny v Offaly in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship semi-final. RTÉ’s coverage of the 2005 Confederations Cup kicks off on Wednesday with the clash of hosts Germany and Australia in Frankfurt, with commentary from George Hamilton and Trevor Steven. Then on Thursday it’s World Champions Brazil against European Champions Greece from Leipzig, with commentary for that match again coming from George Hamilton and Trevor Steven. Republic of Ireland Manager Brian Kerr and Keith O’Neill join Peter Collins for live coverage of both matches. Eight countries take part in this year’s Confederations Cup, the precursor to the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
