Over the course of a 26-year career on stage and screen, actor John C Reilly has steadily moved from being cast in supporting roles to being front and centre and one of the major attractions in any film in which he appears. His ability to inhabit the widest range of characters with natural ease mean he has never been typecast and is accepted by audiences in whatever role he may be. He's an everyman, a self-described 'this generation's Gene Hackman'. He's also a writer, producer and a mean musician (with his bluegrass band John Reilly & Friends).
