ARENA Over the course of a 26-year career on stage and screen, actor John C Reilly has steadily moved from being cast in supporting roles to being front and centre and one of the major attractions in any film in which he appears. His ability to inhabit the widest range of characters with natural ease mean he has never been typecast and is accepted by audiences in whatever role he may be. He's an everyman, a self-described 'this generation's Gene Hackman'. He's also a writer, producer and a mean musician (with his bluegrass band John Reilly & Friends). During his recent sojourn at the Galway Film Fleadh he sat down with Sean Rocks for a public interview and delighted and engaged a packed audience at the Town Hall Theatre in Galway
