THE POETRY PROGRAMME In the programme this week, Rick speaks with Benjamin Keatinge, Associate Professor at SEE University in Macedonia, about the work of Irish poet Richard Murphy (b. 1927). One of a trio of major poets who emerged in the 1950s (Murphy, Montague, Kinsella), Murphy lives these days in Sri Lanka, where Ben recently visited him. The programme includes readings by Richard Murphy recorded in his home in Sri Lanka - a rare treat.
