Saturday Night with Miriam – Guest Line Up for Saturday 27 August
The final episode in the current series of Saturday Night with Miriam airs this weekend on RTÉ One at 9.50pm.
This week on the show Miriam meets the star of Strictly Come Dancing, Brendan Cole. Miriam will also be checking out the local talent when she is joined by some Irish ballroom dancing champions.
Pat Shortt and director Gerard Barrett will be in studio to talk about their moving new drama ‘Smalltown’.
Irish Paralympians Deirdre Mongan, a seated thrower/shot-put and Orla Comerford, an 18-year-old visually impaired sprinter both join Miriam to talk about their final preparations before the head to Rio.
Comedienne Deirdre O’Kane will drop by to chat about her upcoming show at The Fringe Festival and her return to live in Ireland.
Plus there will be music from Peppy the winner of our ‘New Music’ call out.
