Music for your Sunday afternoon featuring live performances from the RTÉ archive and standout works from our featured artists. Today’s concert from the RTÉ archive sees the National Symphony Orchestra playing Mozart’s Symphony No. 29 in A and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 in A, Op. 90 (Italian) with violinist Julian Rachlin directing. We’ll also hear early music specialist soprano Emma Kirkby in recordings of Mozart’s Laudete Dominum, Handel’s Gloria in Excelcis Deo and Vivaldi’s Nulla in Mundo Pax Sincera
