RECOVERY – ROCK CLIMBING IN ANTRIM

 

Cook Eat Burn is a  brand new cookery series in which Donal Skehan shows viewers how to cook healthy, delicious recipes designed to help us become more active, fuel fitness activities, and even embark on adventure sports.

In each of the six programmes, Donal shares his own new recipes, specially selected to enhance the day of physical exertion ahead.

 

From kayaking to rock climbing, boot camp to mountaineering; and cycling to coasteering, Donal cooks the ideal dishes to complement an energetic lifestyle.

Every week, Donal is accompanied by Dr Brendan Egan, an expert in Sport and Exercise Science from UCD. Brendan monitors the impact of each activity on Donal’s body, and keeps count of the calories being burned.

 

Throughout the series, Donal travels to some of Ireland’s most stunning locations including the Greenway in Mayo, Carrauntoohil in Kerry and the Causeway Coast in North Antrim.

Cook Eat Burn shows viewers the secret to cooking simple, healthy and tasty food – the ideal dishes  for pursuing a healthier and more active lifestyle.

 

Programme two: Recovery. Rock Climbing in Antrim In tonight’s programme Donal goes rock climbing on the beautiful but challenging North Antrim Coast.  He prepares his own new recipes, specially selected to help the body recover after day of activity and exertion..

Donal’s recipes include Seabass Ceviche, Beetroot Burgers, Pomegranate Molasses Chicken, and Coconut Macaroons.
