Once again programme makers have been given exclusive access to the front and back of house of Dublin’s most iconic hotel. This time we’ll be following what it takes to deliver five star luxury over The Shelbourne’s busiest time of the year – the autumn and Christmas season.
Over the series the exacting staff find themselves under more pressure to ensure that the standards of service are upheld as the outside of the hotel undergoes a major and disruptive renovation to its façade.

This week The Shelbourne receives a design shake up from top interior designer Guy Oliver. In the Grand Ballroom there’s a wine tasting event and while the Banqueting team struggle to clean glasses, Nisea the Shelbourne’s sommelier takes us through the art of spitting! Doiran gets a room ready for a multimillionaire guest, who like him started as a waiter. And the battle continues between the hotel staff and restoration team as the hammering is now affecting some of the hotels most expensive suites.
