Episode Two: Tullamore
In episode two of brand new health series You Should Really See A Doctor Dr Pixie McKenna and Dr Phil Kieran travel to Tullamore and set up clinic at the country’s biggest one day agricultural event The Tullamore Show.
Pixie meets dad of four Ger Murphy (41) who has been suffering debilitating headaches for nearly a decade. Some days he can’t get out of bed which is effecting his quality of life and his quality time with his young family. He fears the headaches are a sign of a serious underlying problem like a brain tumour. Can Pixie find out what’s causing Ger’s severe headches?
Phil meets local farmer John Sutton (64) who comes to the clinic with the very serious concern of shortness of breath. About to retire and worried about his family medical history of sudden deaths, John believes his best days are behind him. Can Phil get to the bottom of John’s symptoms?
Also in the clinic, Pixie meets student Rachael who is suffering with a red rash on her face. She’s researched her symptoms online and doesn’t like what she’s found. And Phil gives advice to 20 year old Jordan who is worried a lump on his eye may be cancerous.
