DRAMA ON ONE (Repeat)

“Ulster Volunteers” by Gary Mitchell. This play moves through two time zones – the Battlefields of Belgium in 1916 and the Battlegrounds of Belfast today. In this dual narrative, notions of “heroism” and “camaraderie” are explored and examined.

Matthew Mc Elhinney played Dinger Bell, Joanne was Roisin Gallagher, Michael Liebmann played Soda Baker and Mrs. Bell was played by Stella Mc Cusker. Stuart Graham played the part of Captain Eric Bell and Lieutenant Geoffrey Cather was Marty Maguire. Gorretti Slavin was the Announcer, Garth Mc Conaghie was Billy and the Private was Gary Mitchell. Captain Willard Spender was played by Nick Dunning. The singer was Elaine Mc Conaghie and all guitars were played by Ian Smith. The composer and sound designer was Garth Mc Conaghie and Sound Supervision was by Mark Dwyer and Damien Chennells. The Dramaturg was Jesper Bergmann. “Ulster Volunteers” by Gary Mitchell was produced by Kevin Reynolds.
