In this sensitive portrait, Niall remembers the key episodes in his own alcohol-dominated life, his ambivalent relationship with the 12 step process, his hopes about a new romance and his escapism into pub quiz trivia. A relationship with Susan brings hope, but Niall’s illness threatens to bring him ever closer to catastrophe.
