Mozart and Haydn were great friends. Haydn called Mozart ‘the greatest composer known to me’ and Mozart wrote a whole series of String Quartets, which he dedicated to Haydn. Ian McGlynn will feature part of those quartets on Sunday including The Hunt, and we’ll hear two fugues – one by Bach and the other by Lady Gaga!
