In this very special episode of For One Night Only, Gay Byrne is joined by one of Ireland’s greatest songwriters, the legendary Phil Coulter.

This programme celebrates some of the musician’s greatest hits from “Scorn Not His Simplicity” to “The Town I Loved So Well” and of course Eurovision hit “Congratulations.”   The Bay City Rollers make an appearance with an outstanding performance of “Shang A Lang”.

It promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment with the likes of  Louis Walsh, Paul Byram, John Sheehan, Tommy Fleming and Finbar Furey all there to pay tribute to one of the greatest icons in Irish musical history.
