Foul Play is presented by Aidan Power and features Kenneth Egan being spoofed in a fake television show presented by Ryan Tubridy, Cian Healy being rused in a restaurant by his girlfriend BINTM contestant Holly Carpenter, football manager Roddy Collins hoaxing the members of his own team, Athlone Town and RTÉ Gaelic Games Correspondent Marty Morrissey being pranked in Croke Park!

Interviewing heavyweight Ryan Tubridy pits himself against Light Heavyweight boxing champion Kenneth Egan. Kenneth assumes he is being interviewed for a new sports profiles television show by ‘Ireland’s best known TV presenter’. But all is not what it seems. Enter the Foul Play team!

Holly Carpenter, model and Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model contestant, takes her Leinster and Ireland rugby playing boyfriend Cian Healy out for dinner.  When the waiters start serving up more attitude than food, the kitchen suddenly is not the hottest place in the restaurant!

RTÉ Gaelic Games Correspondent Marty Morrissey is used to handling pressurised post match interview situations. When he is faced with a love match gone sour and a very different proposal in Croke Park, will he run for the tunnel?

A football manager should command the respect of his team. But when Roddy Collins decides to bring in some ‘experts’ to help motivate his team, Athlone Town FC, things get a little strange. How far will a footballer go to keep his place on the team?

Our pranksters are aided and abetted by comedy trio ‘Shifts’ who know just the right buttons to press on our unsuspecting victims. The boys, Eoin Ronayne, Colm Reid and Rob O’Hanrahan, have featured in numerous ‘Republic of Telly’ sketches to date and are ones to watch out for in the future.

Presenter Aidan Power watches from the wings as these situations unfold and delivers the good or bad news to our sports stars that they have ‘been played!’
