The daily afternoon show features an entertaining mix of Ireland’s best lifestyle experts, leading chefs, latest entertainment news and viewer giveaways from 4.30pm each weekday.
The series, which will continue to be broadcast from RTÉ Cork, will see the return of a host of last season’s most popular items, as well as, new features and new contributors. Live cookery will now feature each day with some of Ireland’s most renowned chefs including Paul Flynn, Rachel Allen, Catherine Fulvio, Kevin Dundon and Darina Allen alongside consumer affairs expert Conor Pope, wedding planner Franc, designer Brendan Courtney, newsreader Michael Murphy, dating expert Avril Mulcahy, mothering with Yvonne Horgan, money saving with Vicki Maye and dietician Elsa Jones with food and wine consultant, Tom Doorley joining the line-up.

THE TODAY HOSTS – BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Dáithí Ó Sé has presented a variety of programmes on RTÉ including The Daily Show and The Rose of Tralee and was ajudge on The All Ireland Talent Show for three series. Dáithí has presented The Rose of Tralee three times since 2010 and helped deliver the most watched Rose final in over a decade. Dáithí also took part in The Restaurant, RTÉ’s Celebrity You’re A Star in aid of the Make A Wish Foundation and Celebrities Go Wild for the People in Need Telethon. Originally from Dingle in County Kerry, Dáithí studied in Mary Immaculate College in Limerick. He worked with TG4 for over 10 years as a weather presenter and presented a variety of programmes including Glór Tíre, Dáithí ar Highway 61and Dáithí ar Route 66. Before becoming a weather presenter Dáithí worked as a teacher, a butcher, a ferry driver around the Blasket Islands and even a short stint as a ringmaster with Duffy’s Circus.
Maura Derrane is a television presenter and journalist with over 15 years experience. She began her career in RTÉ Galway as a news researcher for RTÉ’s former western editor Jim Fahy. For the last two years Maura she has presented Four Live on RTÉ One, a daily live studio based magazine programme, which featured human interest stories, health, beauty and lifestyle interviews as well as daily cookery slots. Before this Maura co-presented one season of RTÉ’s long running The Afternoon Show. She was co-anchor of TV3’s breakfast show Ireland AM from 2004 until 2006. Before being appointed to that role she was crime correspondent for four years with TV3. She broke a number of stories and also presented and produced a documentary on the murder trial of Catherine Nevin where she got exclusive interviews. She also presented a four part documentary series called Living with Murder. Maura worked as a news reporter for TV3 and TG4 where she covered home stories as well as reporting from Romania and the plight of children in orphanages, the death of Princess Diana in London, and the Irish Army in Lebanon. For the last four years she has also presented Feirm Factor, a reality farming show on TG4.
