As Tom puts the finishing touches to the brand new TV the family look forward to a lovely evening. But within hours they get stranded in a lay-by, leave their child home alone and get into a spot of bother with the police.

The everyday eccentricity of the Whyte family continues in the second episode of Jason Byrne’s sitcom Father Figure. Tom tries his hand at a bit of DIY ahead of a relaxing evening with his family.  However, things are never straight forward where the Whyte family is concerned and it soon descends into mayhem….Within hours they are stranded in a lay-by and discover that they have left their youngest child Drew at home alone.  Whilst waiting for help to arrive things take a turn for the worse and they get into a spot of bother with the police.
