The Robert Wilson and Philip Glass collaboration Einstein on the Beach, An Opera in Four Acts, is widely recognized as one of the most innovative operatic achievements of the 20th century, attracting new audiences to genre.

Tonight’s Nova marks a new production of the work this Autumn in the Brooklyn Academy of Music with a broadcast of highlights from the music and text of Einstein on the Beach, including the Knee Plays, along with a conversation between composer Philip Glass, company members and US radio station WQXR host Terrance McKnight.
